Medication Dilemma

Oh dear - Master R is changing school this year - and we were quite excited - until a trip to the Ped. on Monday.R will need to catch the bus to his new school.  And I will need to give his Ritalin 2 hours earlier than I have this year - which of course means it will wear off 2 hours earlier - probably around 2pm!  That will make it impossible for him to catch the school bus home! Paed. suggested adding a short acting Ritalin - to be given when it is obvious his LA dose has worn off.  That…See More

It's been a while......

Wow - we have faced some challenges lately - on top of ADHD!  I broke my collar bone in April - completely debilitating me for weeks (not to mention I sliced open my finger the following week!).  Last week I got the flu, and the virus has affected what was a slowly healing, but relatively painless broken bone (after many weeks of a lot of pain) and now I am back on pain killers ever four hours until I can rid myself of this virus....one step foward, two steps back - and I am over…
